Harper: I have read a very good one by S. T. Abby. It’s five novellas that add up to be one novel. It’s called Mindf*ck. The h is a revenge killer that has a relationship with an FBI agent. Totally worth it staying up all night reading them.

JeanieV: Ohhhhhh! Sweetest Sin was soooo good. It’s my fave guilty pleasure of 2016. I was shocked stupid but not because of the taboo nature of the story. The writing was really well done. And there were definitely a lot of “Whaaaaat????” “No!!!!” “Eeeep!” moments for sure.

Cristina: Finished “Sweetest Sin” tonight. Perfect ending to a really great story! I can hang my Grandmother’s rosary up! Redemption has been found! I’m so happy I got to read this hidden treasure. Beautifully written. I would only add that the story could have been written into two books. While the book is satisfying enough by itself, I would like to have witnessed the first part of their journey. The story comes to us after their friendship and feelings have already developed, but neither have acted upon them or confronted each other about them. I wish I could’ve been there for that part, yet somehow I don’t feel shorted. The author did a fantastic job giving us everything we need to become entranced with these two and their forbidden story! Loved it!! 🙂

Jennifer: I also read Kids of Appetite in January also a great read and different story… fairly taboo due to h’s age, lots of drug references, hard childhood upbringing and mental illness, but a beautiful, emotional, moving story. I loved it…but I don’t mind taboo.

Tasha J: I’m so happy someone else read Kids of Appetite too! If I’d had read it sooner I would have said it was my favorite book last year, hands down. It’s definitely one of my all time favorites.

Christine: This story was exceptional! I rarely ever read short stories because it takes me a bit to connect (hectic work life and all.) This story grabbed me. I loved ever second of it and the narration was perfection!

Nancy: …one of my favorite authors, Harloe Rae. Now that I’ve read this one, I can say that I’ve read all her books! This is a unique pairing of two opposites that are perfect match for each other.

Sweetness, and because of how she’d been raised, they had a slow-burn start to their romance. It’s then a first kiss for his Callie and what a kiss it is! By the end of the story the romance is blazing hot, and you are sure that this is a forever more romance. I loved Ridge & Callie together!
